ROUND-UP: 13 FAVORITE POSTS!

The Sunny Shadow has been up & running for four months now! Time flies when you’re having fun! Wanna take a guess at how many posts I’ve published since I started the blog late last November?? 42! Yes, you read that correctly. Crazy, right? It would’ve been more but I took a couple of mini breaks here & there, as it’s been an adjustment. I think I’m starting to get the hang of it though. My goal is to publish three posts per week. We’ll see. I’d love to hear feedback & opinions. What do you like & not like? What do you want to see more of or less of? Have any suggestions at all? I LOVE constructive criticism!

With that being said, here are some of my favorite posts from the beginning! From oldest to newest.

  • Feta Bow-Tie Pasta :: Favorite Healthy Recipe – This recipe is special to me because my husband & I stumbled upon it 17 years ago when we were newly married & living in our little apartment. We loved that apartment. And now it’s our daughters’ favorite weekday dinner. Besides pasta & feta cheese, it includes spinach, black olives, & the chicken is optional. Oh, & I always add lots of garlic! Serve with garlic bread & salad, Mmm!
  • Finding Balance Again – We all find ourselves a little unbalanced from time-to-time. The question is, How Do We Get Back On Track? In this post I share what I learned on the subject from a recent therapy visit. So it’s kind of like you’re getting free therapy 😉
  • 7 Ways to Make a Small Space Look Larger – This post made the list because it’s the only post that I’ve actually applied my Interior Design degree to. I need to do more design posts but for some reason I haven’t been feelin’ it. Fingers-crossed for the future!
  • Dear Food – A post about my bumpy relationship with food; which I don’t think is all that uncommon.
  • Notions :: Not Victims – Just some random thoughts that were bouncing around in my crazy head. Thought I would write ’em down & share ’em with the world.
  • Gentle Self-Improvement – We’re all doing the best we can on a daily basis. In the midst of it all, we’re also pushing ourselves to grow & improve… to be the best versions of ourselves. This post commends that. We’re not going to do it all perfectly, that’s impossible, but we keep trying. That’s something.
  • My Natural Hair Journey + Helpful Hints for Beginners – About a year ago I embarked on a natural hair journey. When I started, my hair was extremely short {there’s a photo}. The goal is to grow it out to a little past shoulder-length, au naturale! It’s been quite challenging thus far. Wish me luck!

What are some of your favorite posts? What would you like to see more of? Thank you for reading!!!
